Gary Takeuchi

Gary's childhood was a muddy one; he was always digging in his backyard. This curiousity led him to his career as a paleontologist. As Senior Excavator for the George C. Page Museum of La Brea Discoveries, he digs in the Los Angeles area tar pits for bones, fossils, and other remnants of prehistoric life, which help him describe what L.A. looked like long before it became a modern city.
